Letter to Future Students

 Dear AP Psych Student,

Welcome to AP psychology. You will learn a lot about the brain and how people work! It is very interesting and I am sure you will enjoy it. 

Some advice I have: do all your work on time. Do the vocab and really try to understand the word and the definitions. It will be helpful for the AP test and quizzes.

My favorite activity was the blog project. It helped me understand the concepts and learn interesting concepts about psychology outside of vocab. It also helped me review for the AP exam.

I think you should leave out some of the nearpod activities as they did not really help me review. I think just teaching it and reviewing it afterward would help more. 

One suggestion is more review games and activities. The vocab can be hard to memorize since there is so much so a complete vocab review would help a lot, especially since not all the vocab is taught in class.

Overall, this was a good course and I learned a lot.

Online Icebreaker

 Hello! Welcome to my 2023 Psych Blog. I'm Chaitra and I'm a junior. This is me buying my family dinner at a fancy Italian restaurant with my first paycheck from my first ever job. I was really proud of all the hard work I did to earn my own money for the first time and I thought it was cool to do something for my family. Even though the bill was literally almost half of my entire paycheck (minimum wage), it was still worth it. 4 truths and a lie: 1. I know 4 languages.  2. My favorite kind of dessert is cheesecake. 3. I play the piano. 4. I usually visit India once a year. 5. I wrote, produced, directed, and acted in a short TV show starring members of my family during the pandemic. Thanks for reading!
