How good is your memory?

The three tests I chose to take were the facial memory test, the short-term memory test, and the common cents test. On the facial memory test, I guessed 10 out of 10 of the facial elements right, which was surprising. I guess I'm good at remembering faces! I think there are some validity issues, however, because there are very few options to choose from when you have to reconstruct the face you just saw.

I was less lucky on the common cents test though, because I didn't guess the right coin. I even got the direction Lincoln was facing wrong, which was embarrassing.

On the short-term memory test, I was able to recall 9/12 of the words.

I would say these tests are valid for the most part, as they do test the person's ability to recall information and it is a memory test. However, there are some flaws to them and you should not depend on them to determine whether your memory is "good" or not.
